The Problem with Blogging

Wow, you say you’re going to blog faithfully at least once a week, and before you know it, nearly 3 months slip by and you haven’t done it; not once. I really meant it when I said that I would. Honest.

And it’s not like I don’t have anything interesting to talk about; I do. More than I could ever possibly write. So what’s the problem?

Deadlines. Not deadlines for other, more important things. The lack of deadlines for blogging. You see, it takes more than just good intentions to regularly blog. It takes a commitment…and a deadline.

So, going forward, I’m going to try and have a new blog up every Monday. It’s not a New Year’s resolution or anything like that. I hate those. It’s just recognition of the importance of it.

I mean, I am a writer, after all, or at least I claim to be. So I just need to spend a few minutes each week writing my blog. So there it is.
