My name is Doug McIntire. I'm originally from Iowa, but I now make my home in central Texas, around the Austin area. I'm 44 years old and my wife's name is Maria.

I like to write speculative fiction and ride my Harley-Davidson motorcycle in my free time. I've been doing both for a number of years now. I've ridden my motorcycle to all 48 states of the Continental United States! And not on a trailer! It was all hard miles on the seat!
